Briefing:
New restaurant bar opening on student accommodation premises in Melbourne. Require logo to attract primarily uni students. Bar is called BAROUGE which stands for red bar in French so logo should probably contain some red colouring and a design that would reflect a trendy place where everyone can hang out. Website, Trademark or Brand Name: barouge / Desired Tagline: No desired tagline / Desired Color Scheme: some red preferably. Conceptual approach "Heart + fruit" The symbol freedom / sin (in the most positive way) / youth / health emotions / people / connections The type BAROUGE (original) Inspiration on Büro Destructs most challenging and unusual experiments. the type BAR • RESTAURANT • CAFE (detail: the bullet character is actually the symbol) I've designed this typeface a few years ago (please see my portfolio showcase) but somehow ended up lost in some old sketch book in my bedroom. I thought it might look good because its so neutral and elegant, yet still modern and consistent. It's based on Swiss 721 Condensed font. Advanced critique please, your feedback means a lot Thanks again my friends, arpad Comments Wow, that is a really sleek and powerful logo. Very modern and it certainly reminds me of a trendy hangout. I also think that the symbol goes very well with the restaurant's name.
The only criticism I have is this: I don't really see the two symbols that were your concepts. Not knowing that you were going after a heart + apple approach, I would have thought that the design was similar to that of a strawberry or chili. The heart shape still stands out to me though, and that really is a great symbol for friendship, youth, emotion, etc.  I also find the "e" at the end of "barouge" to look slightly more like an "o," especially if I were to look at it from a distance. But that's totally minor. All things considered though, this is such an awesome logo. The red really catches my eye, and it certainly symbolizes a friendship/hangout feeling right from the first glance. It would totally make me want to eat there.  Really nice stuff! I'm actually from australia, I think this design will really work here, and especially in melbourne, as it is the "design" and "trendyness" capital of Australia!

Provavelmente precisará de outros elementos que a companhem a marca, como fotos, ilustrações ou elementos abstratos.....geralmente eu tento pegar os conceitos que faltaram na marca e insiro nos elementos de apoio, entende?
