I'm still here! LOGOFOLIO soonMy dear friends,
I'm so sorry I've been absent. I've been busy as hell and yes that's good. My life is a total obsession with what I do. I should be a farmer instead and live out in the open. Carrots and potatoes, you know what I mean? Anyway, just to touch base and tell you that I'm preparing a super duper logo pack with my latest creations.
See you soon, take care and happy designing.
Find me an apartment for rent......and win a logo for free! I am a citizen of the world, I want to go anywhere!!!

GMAIL ACCOUNT HACKEDHello people, I've been hacked so I am not replying any emails because I can't access it. This has been hard to take it because my email is part of my working method. I lost all my clients emails, calendar features and even my Paypal account. I want to die but not really, I'll restart.
See you all soon and fully operational again,
On the Couch with...me??! :)Take a look at the interview!!
Critiquing, do's and dont'sSo i almost always request critiques on my art, and i also get a lot of them too (thank you so much guys/galls) and i've noticed some critiquers have some misconceptions about critiques, their role, how to do it, etc.
Now i don't want to critique someone's critiuque, i rarely do that because people take it as being defensive about the art that is critiqued. So i'll just make this journal to hopefully inform/educate some of you about critiquing.
-If an artist requests critiques, and you have something to say about it then do use the critique widget to leave a critique. Don't critique in the comment's section though. I know some of you are more shy, but if you're bold enough to write a critique then put it in its proper place, that's what the widget is fore. This does not apply to artists who do not have a premium and can't requests critiques through the widget.
-Do read the artists comments on the artwork first. They might offer hints on what
Monthly Theme FANTASY vote and win points:iconthefavouriteshowcase:
ALL INFO ABOUT THE THEMATIC FOLDER HERE
This is the new way to find our winner of our monthly challenge at TheFavouriteShowcase: instead of using a Poll with the ten most voted of the period, we'll be using a blog to showcase the 20 MOST VOTED on this theme!
This means, or so I hope, more exposure for your pieces and galleries.
The idea is simple: each work has a number and all deviants have the opportunity to vote like if it was a poll...with the difference that you will choose not one but 3 favourites!
All deviants may vote, INCLUSIVE who is participating; the participants may vote for themselves and ask friends and watchers to vote; this blog may have publicity by all means and be submitted in groups.
The work with most votes wins 130 points;
the second place wins 80, the 3rd place wins 50 and the 4th win
Honey, We're Getting a MonsterfancyQUACKS
A really hungry one...
Naughty monsters are running rampant in the city again - you know the kind! They're short, noisy and make constant mischief on our doorsteps; begging for candy despite buying perfectly good pumpkins the same day. What's their dastardly plan for all that food? They're up to no good and must be stopped.
We should feed the trick-or-treaters - to hungry, real monsters! There's a critter-shaped hole to this plan: we don't actually have any real monsters. But all we need are your designs to put into my Monster Making Machine to release them into the suburbs! Trick-or-treaters - gobbled up for good!
How does this work? I'm glad you asked. The "Monster Maker 2000" is my old, modified microwave and this invention will create flesh-and-blood monsters from designs. A little energy combined with your designs will help bring our glorious abomination to life.

Understanding your legal rights as a photographer can often be confusing and overwhelming. From copyright infringement to fair use to DMCA, there are a number of legal concepts that every photographer should be familiar with. Here are eight important legal cases that are illustrative of these concepts and the importance of registering your copyright.
1. Andrew Paul Leonard v Stemtech Health Sciences, Inc
Key concept: Copyright infringement and registration
Microphotography expert Andrew Paul Leonard’s photographs of bone marrow stem cells were stolen and used on the Stemtech website and other marketing materials.
The court ruled in Leonard’s favor for copyright infringement awarding him $1.6m in actual damages. However, he was denied statutory damages because he didn’t register his images until after the infringement occurred.
2. Nussenzweig v DiCorcia
Key concepts: Right of Privacy/Publici

Our First Ever Comment Contest As many of you know, around August-October, we host a yearly Relativity art contest. We must delay the contest this year due to personal issues and other commitments that we want to get through. But, we didn't just want to let our anniversary pass without doing something.
We are going to have a comment contest! The nice thing about this is that EVERYONE can enter, even if you are not good at art or writing. The only thing you need to do is leave comments. There will be two categories: ART and STORIES. Each category will have slightly different rules, so pay attention. You MAY enter both categories. The idea is to leave comments on Relativity artwork and/or stories. Everyone who qualifies will be entered into a drawing to win points prizes. We also have a special grand-prize up for grabs.
All comments must be NEW. You cannot enter with old comments. They must have been posted on or after October 24, 2014 to qualify.
